The Role

Role Description

From day one of my placement I received the same training and on-boarding that all new P&G new hires receive. I worked in the payment services department and within 3 weeks I was in charge of my own plant which meant ensuring invoices were paid on time, collaborating with the site in France to ensure any issues were resolved and completing a monthly reconciliation of the accounts for my plant. In my spare time I also had the opportunity to take part in site-wide projects which are now rolled out across the world at other P&G centres.

The work at P&G was a mix of core work and extra activities you could become involved with, this meant that at quieter times you could look for an additional project to volunteer for.

From day one I was given the same role as the other people on my team, at first I was worried it would be too much responsibility for a new starter but my team were really great and were always available if I needed any help.
