The Role

Role Description

I was working in the Insurance and Investments team, with a particular focus on Advised Protection. My projects including designing & managing changes to the website, designing and sourcing marketing products and arranging events for the team.

We had different levels of support- from buddies on the graduate programme, to our line managers and programme supervisors- which meant there was always someone you could ask for help.

A slightly slow start but once my projects got going I had plenty to do. But deadlines were always realistic and I was able to leave work in the office and not have to work in the evenings or at weekends.

I was given projects which I had complete ownership of and which will have a tangible outcome. I will be able to go onto the website or into a branch and see something that I am personally responsible for!

I would recommend this internship to anyone looking to gain insight into financial services- they really invest in you and esnure you get to meet and talk to lots of senior people.
