We design and manufacture products and systems ranging from traffic lights, wind turbines and superconducting magnets used in medical scanners, through to drives that are behind many of the UK’s manufacturing plants.

Siemens Magnet Technologies (SMT), based in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, is part of the Siemens Healthcare Division and is a world leader in the design and manufacture of superconducting magnets for MRI body scanners. Annually, SMT make over 1100 magnets, and a third or all MRI systems in the world contain a magnet made there.
