The Role

This year another opportunity exists for an enthusiastic individual studying a Software Engineering or Business related course to join the IS Department. As a trainee Project Manager, applicants will be an integral part of a dynamic team that implements IT Projects at Trade and Group level.

The major areas of development within the period of the placement will be:

  • Project Management, presentation skills, people management
  • Effective communication and report writing. Coaching and mentoring.
  • A good all round knowledge of IS applications.

Applicants should have an understanding of Project Management, as well as excellent written and verbal communication. They should be self-motivated, organised and used to working in a structured and timely manner. Applicants will also need to have excellent analytical and time management skills, ability to learn new skills quickly, and adapt their current skills to the differing scenarios they will come across.
