Teeofftimes.co.uk was formed in 2007 by Europe's specialist golf travel company, Golfbreaks.com. It now advertises tee times for more than 1,200 clubs in the UK & Ireland, with the figure growing on a daily basis. In 2013, 350,000 golfers took the opportunity to purchase tee times online 24 hours a day and seven days a week, via the website, mobile site and iPhone/Android apps. Teeofftimes.co.uk is also the only tee-time booking service to reward customers for their loyalty through our Breakpoints customer rewards programme, which earns money off all future bookings made with Teeofftimes.co.uk and our sister companies, Golfbreaks.com and BookaSpa.com.

Golfbreaks.com was formed in 1998 by Chief Executive, Andrew Stanley, and is Europe’s specialist golf travel company, organising golf breaks and holidays - along with stand-alone tee-times - for more than 600,000 golfers at 2,000 resorts and courses in the UK, Europe and Worldwide. A further 15,000 customers use the group’s services to book spa breaks and spa days.

Role overview

As a Customer Service Agent, you will be expected to provide a high level of customer service to the sales process for Teeofftimes.co.uk. Your role will include duties such as making amendments to bookings and managing new bookings that are generated via the website. You will need excellent customer care skills and be able to deal with a wide variety of individuals. This role will involve close contact with customers, suppliers and colleagues and will require you to undertake certain administrative duties to ensure that customer expectations are met.

You will be part of a highly motivated team who strive to go above and beyond the clients expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Resolving product or service problems by clarifying the customer's requirements, determining the cause of any problems, deciding the best solution and following up to ensure the clients requirements are fulfilled.
  • Recommending potential products or services to the clients based upon their individual needs.
  • Providing daily support of the booking process through the website. Tasks include the processing of bookings that require manual intervention.
  • Assisting the account management team by providing support with weekly availability checks, extranet training and general club support duties.
  • Building relationships with key personnel at supplier level. This will include regular telephone conversations and email communications.
  • Being proactive in responding to and following up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Arranging and participating in meetings and project team activities.
  • Taking park in weekly and monthly projects that support the long term growth aspirations of the brand.
  • Providing support to the society golf team during quieter months.
