Lasting three days, this programme for first-year undergraduates (or second years on a four-year degree) will boost your employability skills and give your career a jump start.

You’ll spend time in the company of like-minded peers, learn from top professional business advisers and recruiters, and get the kind of preparation for the world of work that’s available only to the most talented and ambitious.

The Insight Academy is a prestigious programme that will put you through your paces. You’ll benefit from a demanding but rewarding course of learning and assessments, if you do well in our assessment exercises, you’ll fast track through to a place on a PwC Internship, International Internship or Business Placement. A mix of comprehensive skills sessions, recruitment workshops and business awareness workshops will also help you build on your existing skills and knowledge with the workplace firmly in mind.

Straight away, you'll realise how much you already know – for instance, about dealing with different people and situations – thanks to a job you’ve had, a team you’ve been part of or perhaps voluntary work you’ve done for a society or charity. More importantly, you'll be amazed at how swiftly you can build on your knowledge when you are on Academy, applying it to the kinds of business scenarios you'd come across daily at PwC.

You’ll also tackle a challenging, action-centred learning project as part of a group. And at the end, you'll present your group's findings and recommendations – something that will be more than simply a 'show and tell' exercise.

The course will be intensive – but you'll be under the watchful eye of experienced business professionals.

About you

As a first-year undergraduate or second year on a four-year degree, you’ll need to have a 300 UCAS tariff or equivalent and be on course for a 2:1 in any discipline.
