Product Planning / Accessories Product Planning Industrial Placement

These placements will be based within either the Accessories Product Planning or Product Planning department. The role will cover managing and maintaining retail packaging across internal and external supply chains. Additional training will be provided where necessary to enhance the successful candidate’s skill sets.

Triumph are now recruiting for a high calibre undergraduate for a twelve month placement to assist with Product Development and Planning activities for our department. We are looking for candidates who are expecting to achieve a 2:1 or a First Class Honours Degree in a business/marketing or engineering related subject who can commence employment in summer 2015.

Core Tasks:

• Competitor/Market Research and Benchmarking.
• Manage and maintain retail packaging across internal and external supply chains.
• Competitor analysis and presentation of information.
• Interrogation of internal systems to expose historical sales data.
• Input to styling direction of future products.
• Assistance with creation of product Specifications/Scopes/Briefs.
• Procurement of benchmark products.
• General tasks to assist Accessories Development & Planning & Accessories Manager.

Key Skills:

• Excel/Word skills.
• Adobe In-Design /Photoshop experience would be beneficial.

General:

• An interest/prior knowledge of the motorcycle industry would be beneficial.
• Full driving license is required. (Some travel/dealer visits will be required)
• Flexible approach to changing priorities.
• Highly organised.
• Enthusiastic and approachable.
• Able to communicate effectively with other areas of the business at all levels.
• Ability to work unsupervised and with own initiative.

The recruitment process for this position will entail online testing followed by an interview at our site in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Please note that this role is only open to Undergraduates who need to undertake a year out in industry as part of their degree course.
