In our second year our new Undergraduate Placement Programme is a great opportunity to put your knowledge into practice. You’ll quickly learn how our restaurants work – from the inside out, working with different specialist teams, you’ll be able to fine-tune your business and management skills.

This is a management programme carried out during your industrial placement year, where you’ll work flexible shifts in our busy restaurants. You’ll embark on an intensive development programme, including attending our 6-week management induction. You’ll be set development objectives, attend role-specific courses, plus development days with an Operations Manager. You’ll work together with our Restaurant Support team, helping to design (and implement) new projects across our business.

Your time with PizzaExpress doesn’t stop there. You’ll get the opportunity to work part-time in one of our restaurants in your final year at University. And things only get better once you’ve graduated; you’ll be able to apply to be part of our fast-track development programme, which allows Restaurant Managers to become Operations Managers, and look after your own group of restaurants.

We are looking for highly talented Undergraduates to earn a place on our development programme. The programme is open to Undergraduates studying a business or hospitality degree, who need to spend a year in industry.
