Summer Internship - Retail and Business Banking

Our customers drive our business. And because we want your internship to give you a real insight into the way we do things, you’ll work with experienced people who put customers at the heart of everything they do. That could mean dealing directly with retail banking and credit card customers, learning the ropes from a business partner or even delivering services for clients.

Whatever the case, you’ll work with people who’ll give you the support you need. They’ll help you develop personally and professionally as you take on projects that have a real impact on our business. To give you an idea, here are some projects recent interns have contributed to:

• competitor research to analyse how we stack up against other high street banks and credit card providers
• developing new ways to process card transactions and payments, whether from terminals or through e-commerce payment engines
• working with HR professionals to improve Employee Opinion Survey results via action plans
• looking at ways to drive specific revenue streams, such as Barclays Business products
