About Accenture

We are one of the world’s leading organisations providing management consulting, technology and outsourcing services, with more than 305,000 people working in 200 cities across 56 countries across the world. Combining unparalleled experience, comprehensive capabilities across all industries and business functions, and extensive research on the world's most successful companies, we collaborate with an array of clients to help them evolve.

What this scheme is about

Aimed at penultimate-year students, this scheme will give you a real taste of life at Accenture. You’ll join our consulting practice for eight weeks during July and August and turn your hand to live projects. As well as developing an in-depth understanding of consulting, you’ll start to acquire the skills you need to succeed here. What’s more, we’ll pay you a competitive pro-rata salary. Perform well and impress us, and we may even offer you a permanent role after you graduate.

How you’ll evolve

The scheme begins with a week-long induction that will give you a solid grounding in business and technology consultancy, and valuable commercial skills. Following this, you’ll start on a project.
You could be based anywhere within our consulting teams and you’ll be a fully-fledged team member right from the start, making a tangible impact. Your responsibilities might include testing software, conducting research, writing reports or analysing data. We’ll also assign you a ‘buddy’ to offer support and guidance throughout.

What we’re looking for

A penultimate year student, you’ll will need to have achieved 340 UCAS points across your top three A-Levels (that's AAB, not including general studies) or equivalent (or five Bs in Scottish Highers), with a predicted 2:1 degree or equivalent in any discipline. Although you may not already be an IT expert, you have a passion for technology, and you are prepared to live away from home for the summer.
