Supply Chain Analyst Placement

The intern will be in the Tactical Supply Chain for the year and will be working on specific projects assigned.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the day to day planning of aircraft spares to ensure aircraft availability.
• Identify areas of improvement in the forecasts and make improvements where possible. Areas may include changes in fleet planning (where aircraft are planned to be operated) or updated pricing and lead time information.
• Identify and lead Cost Reduction Initiative exercises across multiple business functions.
• Identify trends in aircraft support requirements based on aircraft condition and operating locations.
• Liaise with the end user at the main operating base and assist with reducing spares shortages and critical spares.

Qualifications and Experience:

The intern will most likely be studying towards a highly analytical based degree such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics,

Will need to be highly IT literate and a proficient user of Excel. Modelling and simulation knowledge would be useful. Analytical mind-set with very good attention to detail.
