Programme Management Chinook In service Support Internship

This role is a summer undergraduate internship.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• Work with functional areas within Boeing, Ministry of Defence, Royal Air Force and Joint Helicopter Command (Programme, supply chain, engineering, business operations, Force Command) to identify and develop forward looking performance measures and indicators to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the In-service Support arrangements for the UK Chinook helicopter fleet.
• Apply academic research to identify best practices and innovative approaches to exploit information analysis and utilization
• Identify and apply software tools to model and demonstrate improvements and qualify findings and conclusions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Interest and expertise in Operational Research, Business Operations and Management Science. Expertise in use of Microsoft Office (incl. VBA).

Other Job Related Information:

Due to security requirements the student is required to be holding UK passport at the time of the project.

It is expected that the student will spend the majority of their time located at the Gosport office but occasional travel to Bristol, Fleet and Andover will be required (usually accompanied by Boeing staff).
