Division introduction

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, a division of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, is a premier publisher, licensor and a developer of entertainment content for the interactive space across all current and future platforms, including consoles, PC-based gaming, Mobile and wireless applications.

Providing full administrative, PR and marketing support to the Intl PR and Intl Marketing team, you will work closely alongside the International PR Director and Marketing Managers on a number of projects relating to both WBIE videogames and additional games distributed under third party agreements across 2015/2016.

Primary function of position

  • Primary function is to source, localise and traffic marketing, Community & PR video assets by working closely with external AV agencies ( e.g. TV spots, trailers, behind-the-scenes videos, dev diaries)
  • Support Intl PR manager in the creation of press events and studio tours
  • Assist the International Marketing team in sourcing and trafficking marketing assets to the 8 European offices and the PR team in distributing/localising press releases
  • Support The International Marketing team in the development of International brand plan and its execution.
  • Compile and summarise highlights from WBIE press clippings reports for the global and international regional office.
  • Competitive analysis and research reporting – online and in-store.
  • Burning and duplication of assets and code for PR purposes.
  • Provide general marketing and PR admin support for entire International marketing team.
  • Assistance with PO’s, invoices and general admin tasks
  • Assist the Product Managers on various marketing tactics
  • Minuting of weekly marketing calls with the territories.
  • Compilation of monthly industry news.
  • Provide demonstrations and walk through of game code at internal meetings and consumer and trade events e.g. to Intl regional office and territories.
  • Assist in supporting territory offices on all their asset needs and providing regular PR asset updates.

Skills/abilities required

  • Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and some experience of using databases preferred.
  • Experience of using the internet for research purposes.
  • Business Studies or Marketing undergraduate preferred.
  • Excellent GCSE and A level (or equivalent) results.
  • Must be well organised and disciplined with the ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Must be self-motivated, focused and be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner.
  • Must be analytical and pay close attention to detail.
  • Some previous work experience and an interest in gaming.
  • Knowledge and understanding of burning software, i.e. Nero, Roxio etc recommended
