On our Customer Operations Summer Placement Scheme, you’ll inspire people to deliver exceptional results, develop new product concepts, introduce cutting-edge energy-saving technologies and much more. Variety, challenge and real responsibility are at the heart of this large, important and hugely rewarding part of our business.

This exciting 10-week scheme gives you a real-life look at a graduate career with us, and how you could help us understand, manage and shape the future of all our people and customers. For example, you will discover how we use customer feedback to develop new products and services that transform the whole energy industry.

At the end of the scheme, you will have a deep understanding of this demanding area of our business and the crucial role it plays in our success. More importantly, you will know if you have what it takes to ensure our world-class service evolves in years to come.

Perform well on the scheme and you could go back to university with an offer to join our graduate programme after you leave. That’s on top of the paid accommodation you get for your 10-week summer placement.

To give you the widest possible experience of life with us, we will encourage you to get involved with our many community and charity activities. In the last three years, students like you have raised over £50K for good causes – learning vital work and life skills in the process. We hope a few friendships have also been made along the way.

Requirements

Who are we looking for? We’re open to students from any discipline with a keen interest in business and human nature, strong leadership skills, and a powerful sense of personal and social responsibility.

Minimum requirements: 2:1 degree or Masters (with 2:2 degree minimum) – you must be in your penultimate or final year of study.
