What industrial placements are on offer?

Science is at the heart of our organisation. If you’re on track to obtain a 2:1 in chemistry, microbiology, pharmacy, biology, biomedical science, mathematics, statistics or in a related degree to any of the areas listed above then GSK has the right opportunity for you!

In a Science industrial placement you will find yourself in a real role, adding value to our business as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team in either Research and Development (R&D) or Global Manufacture and Supply (GMS) either discovering & developing new medicines or in the manufacture of existing GSK treatments and medicines.

Or if you’re looking for a role outside of the lab, why not test a placement in an area such as Supply Chain or Regulatory Affairs.

The Supply Chain industrial placement programme will provide you with an in depth understanding of the supply chain process. Your projects and other assignments will contribute to improvements in to help ensure patients and customers at the end of the supply chain get the right product at the right quality.

In Regulatory Affairs you will be working in our consumer business playing a pivotal role in maintaining the safety of our products. Ensuring that products such as Sensodyne, NiQuitin and Beechams are developed, licensed, manufactured, distributed and marketed in compliance with the relevant local legislation in order to help our customers and patients do more, feel better and live longer.

If you want to use your scientific skills in a more business-focused role, we also have fantastic opportunities in Communications, Digital Communications, Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, Sales and Marketing, Science and Supply Chain.
