Pricing / Portfolio Analyst – One-year Placement

A rewarding opportunity for numerate, analytical students looking to gain useful experience and fast-track their careers. This year-long programme will provide you with a wide range of business and analytical skills as you play a key role in assisting with product design, pricing decisions, and tracking business performance. You’ll be recruited as an analyst within our Technical Pricing teams and given opportunities to assist the team in monitoring our personal and commercial insurance business to ensure that Underwriting and Pricing action is taken to increase business profitability. Taking on a number of different tasks and challenges, you’ll make a positive contribution to the development of pricing approaches and Allianz as a whole, acquiring the skills you need to make solid recommendations based on careful and credible analysis.

Criteria

  • Studying for a degree and be able to demonstrate strong numerical/analytical skills e.g. Maths, Statistics, Economics, Sciences etc.
  • 280 UCAS points over 3 A-Levels, including a B or above in Maths.
  • Highly numerate and enjoy data analysis, problem solving
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Keen and excited to take on responsibility by taking the initiative while working with others to produce real business results.
  • A strong team player and have the ability to work alongside others from different backgrounds and areas of expertise.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills will be invaluable to you in making a success of this programme.
  • We are looking for candidates that not only meet our criteria but also demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for this programme.
  • You must be able to work in the UK.
