Spring Insight Day
Have you ever wondered what it is like working at an Investment Bank? What type of work is carried out on a day to day basis and what are the people like who work there? If so, RBC Capital Markets, London, will be hosting a unique opportunity for you to come and learn about who we are for a day.
Events being hosted in 2015 targeting 2017 graduates:
Tuesday 14th April 2015: Insight Day
- Global Investment Banking and Global Markets Divisions
Wednesday 15th April 2015: Insight Day
- Finance, Technology, Operations and Risk Management Divisions
Programme Details
The day will involve a series of presentations on the relevant business areas, a case study, and a tour of the trading floor which will give you further insight into what life is like on a day to day basis at RBC.
Our current graduates will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have. We will wrap up the busy day with a networking afternoon tea reception where you will be able to chat with various members of the business.

- The day will not include formal work shadowing
- There will be no fast-track to the 2016 Summer Analyst Programme but we actively encourage you to apply in September 2016 when applications open

What we look for
We look for well-rounded individuals with outstanding academic records, proven analytical skills, a demonstrated interest in the finance industry and a history of participation in extracurricular activities.
Other essential qualities we look for include strong oral and written communication skills, proven leadership capabilities, initiative, and the ability to play a key role as a team member in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
Fluency in a second European language is not required but would be an advantage.
