The programme is first-class when it comes to giving placement students a real insight into working in a large global manufacturing business & preparing them for a professional career.

Essential Functions

Students at Eaton are given roles of responsibility, working on real projects that allow them to see their direct impact on the business. You will certainly be challenged from day one and supported all the way. We invest significantly in the development of our Interns as we believe they are our talent pipeline of future participants for our Leadership Programme.

The Key Elements

When you join our Internship Programme in Finance, you will receive a specific Job Description detailing your key responsibilities, tasks, objectives and projects that you will focus on during your placement year. As a guide, you can expect that your job role will be made up of the following key elements:

Day-to-Day work
You will undertake a variety of day-to-day administrative and technical tasks as part of your role working within your chosen function.

Project Work
You will be assigned between 2 - 5 projects (based on complexity and duration) to undertake during your 12 months with Eaton. Projects will be predominantly based on your chosen function but will usually involve other departments and require cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Learning & Development
You will participate in a number of formal training sessions which will include functional and technical skills training, core business skills and any relevant IT training.
