About Schroders

One of the most trusted and respected names in asset management, we’ve been creating long-term value for clients for over 200 years. Innovation and an eagerness to try new ideas has been key to our success throughout our history. And, on our Technology and Change Internship Programme, you’ll find that it is still at the heart of our business.

Technology here is about solving problems and providing high quality, bespoke solutions to the whole Schroders community. Our Technology team is 500 strong worldwide, and together they create and support everything from investment platforms and data projects to server networks and applications. Their work underpins everything we do. You will help them deliver.

Once on the programme, you will find:

A fantastic start

We have made every effort to make our Internship Programme one of the best around. As well as a detailed introduction to fund management, you can expect the kind of technical and interpersonal skills training that will prepare you for entry into any graduate scheme in our industry.

Work that means something

You’ll gain invaluable experience on a live project that will have value to the business. You could be producing status reports or project logs, attending workshops or liaising with people across Schroders - whatever’s needed to take the project forward. And you’ll be trusted to deliver.

A rounded experience

All the way through, you’ll have the chance to attend a wide range of networking events. These will range from social activities with fellow interns to informal lunch meetings with Schroders employees. They’ll all present opportunities to get under the skin of the business, and speak to experienced professionals about possible directions for your future career.

To stand out, you must be an ambitious self-starter with a genuine passion for technology and the role it plays in supporting businesses. An eagerness to learn, get involved and make a contribution is vital too. As long as you can demonstrate this, and you’re strong academically, you could be from any degree discipline and year of study.

Excel and, like so many interns before you, you could well find yourself being offered a place on our Graduate Programme. This is because we are quick to recognise and encourage talent. And we have been for two centuries.
