Our Internship Programme

This is not just an outstanding introduction to asset management – it is also, for many, a direct route into our graduate positions. The training is comprehensive, the work will be meaningful, and there’ll be a wide range of networking events where you’ll be able to get advice from experienced professionals.

We have made every effort to make our Internship Programme one of the best around. As well as a detailed introduction to fund management, you can expect the kind of technical and interpersonal skills training that will prepare you for entry into any graduate scheme in our industry.

Work that means something

You won’t be here to just watch; we’ll give you work that is both challenging for you, and important to us. You’ll experience real responsibility on real projects, including one team project that you will present back to senior members of the business at the end of your time with us.

A rounded experience

All the way through, you’ll have the chance to attend a wide range of networking events. These will range from social activities with fellow interns to informal lunch meetings with Schroders employees. They’ll all present opportunities to get under the skin of the business, and speak to experienced professionals about possible directions for your future career.

To stand out, you must be an ambitious self-starter with a genuine passion for investment management. An eagerness to learn, get involved and make a contribution is vital too. As long as you can demonstrate this, and you’re strong academically, you could be from any degree discipline and year of study.
