Over your 12 month internship you'll work in a Manufacturing business environment gaining invaluable skills and experience. The opportunities available will cover all aspects of manufacturing from production to Lean Six Sigma. You could be supporting cost reduction projects, liaising across different departments or helping to plan production activities.

You will be guided by structured goals & objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects. We will support you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE experience. Your manager will offer coaching and mentoring, and the Company will provide the opportunity to connect with other interns across the UK.

Our internships will start in July or August 2015 for a duration of 12 months.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Working towards or about to graduate with a 2:1 Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related subject
  • Enthusiasm and interest for the functional area applied for
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Confident Microsoft skills - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Able to work competently within team environments and as an individual contributor
  • Able to take ownership for projects and work to time limits
  • Logical and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal English Language skills
