HR Sandwich Placement

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Placement Student for twelve months starting in July 2016, this role will be based at our Guildford Head Office.

The HR Placement Student will be taking on the role of a HR Co-ordinator who will provide administrative support to the Human Resources team and line managers across the Regional Business Unit UK & Ireland.

Principle Responsibilites

The Daily HR duties which include:

  • Recruitment activities such as arranging interviews and managing the in-house recruitment system
  • Administration and co-ordination of training courses
  • Offer letter preparation to include Right to Work checks
  • Working with our third-party supplier to ensure completion of all DBS and reference checks and renewals
  • Day-to-day support to the Head of HR, including limited diary management assistance e.g. arranging ad-hoc meetings, submit and process expenses, processing of invoices, copy typing of presentations, agendas, minutes etc
  • Various ad hoc project work as required including leading continuous improvement projects across the HR Advisory & Support Team.

The Successful Candidate Should:

  • Be on course for a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a Human Resources or Business degree.
  • Be PC literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Have good communication and organisational skills
