Our placements include roles in any of our 5 brands (Audi, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, SEAT, Škoda and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles), Group Aftersales & Customer Quality, Group Commercial Services and HR, Finance and IT.

The placements we have available fall within the following specialisms:

Marketing & Communications

Roles cover Marketing Planning, Marketing Communications, Press and PR and Marketing Analytics. Our marketing scheme is very competitive and provides real opportunity to work in a busy, high achieving marketing function for our internationally recognised brands. Our placement students work on communications plans, digital marketing, press and PR activity, budgets, product launches and alongside our agencies.

Sales Operations & Support

Candidates will be offered the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that support our business to effectively deliver excellent service to our customers and internal team. Being successful is as much about having great products, effective sales and marketing strategies as it is about having the great processes and procedures to make it happen. The Sales Operations & Support stream has a range of roles that really impact the front line of our business.

Planning & Analytics

These roles are diverse and cover supply planning and reporting, retailer performance analysis and analysis for our group finance function. Our Planning & Analytics placement students provide insightful analysis and reporting, issue commentary on business performance, identify critical information and support our operations teams with the reporting to enable them to deliver our business goals.

HR, Finance & IT

Our HR, Finance & IT placements provide the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that support our whole business to effectively deliver its strategic goals. Being successful is as much about having great products, effective sales and marketing strategies as it is about having the great policies, processes and procedures as well as the infrastructure to make it happen. The HR, Finance & IT stream has a range of roles that really impact the way our business works.

About the scheme

Our Undergraduate Scheme is open to any student at a UK university who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for 12 months from June 2015. Students should be on a sandwich degree or course which offers a 1 year industrial placement. We are looking for strong academic achievers but we also want well-rounded ambitious people with plenty of motivation and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

You’ll be working alongside senior members of our team on important projects so your written and verbal communication skills must be exemplary and it's important that you are a strong team player who wants to learn more about our business.

You don’t have to be a car enthusiast to come and work for us. It's more important that you demonstrate a passion for your chosen specialism and for the commercial experience that your year in business will give you.

Whilst on the scheme you will receive a salary of £16,500 per annum and a generous benefits package to include performance-related bonus, the opportunity to take out a brand new loan car at favourable company rates from a range across our brands, healthcare cash plan, contributory pension scheme and an annual holiday entitlement of 27 days plus 8 bank holidays.
