Business Change & technology summer internship

Standard Life is a business with a passion for cutting-edge technology. And it’s this energy that keeps our business moving forward. Right now, we’re looking for creative people to help us reach our ultimate target. To be unrivalled leaders in the next generation of financial services.

It’s all part of a supportive programme that helps develop your leadership skills and knowledge of our business and our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to build up contacts right across our company. You’ll be innovative and enthusiastic with a love of technology. You’ll need a great analytical mind, a will to succeed and a true creative flair to solving complex problems.

Our summer internship is all about making the most of your opportunities. It’s been carefully put together to challenge you, but at the same time offer all the support you need at the start of your career. As well as hands on experience, you’ll have access to development events, a buddy to support you during the programme and beyond and a placement manager to provide structured feedback.

Many of our interns are offered a role on our graduate programme the following year. You’ll get a competitive reward package and support towards accommodation in Edinburgh - right in the middle of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We offer internship opportunities in the following areas:

We’re proud of the fact we’re now rated in the Rate My Placement ‘Top 100’ undergraduate Employers for 2014. Please take a moment to read our reviews.

All our internships require you to be on track for a First or 2:1 degree at undergraduate level and that you’re in your penultimate year at university.
