What could be better than a business placement working amongst some of the nation’s most flavoursome food? Say yes to a Food Product Development placement at M&S, and you can help us make it even better!

Say yes, and you’ll work with our team of fastidious foodie experts, helping to make our much-loved recipes even more loved and developing delicious new ideas to satisfy Britain’s appetite for M&S. There’s a lot to learn about keeping our food safe and fresh, but from kitchen to factory you’ll fill up on invaluable learnings and get a taste for career opportunities.

Working closely with our suppliers will be a big part of what you do; after your six months with us, we’ll even help secure you another placement with one of them. You’ll also spend time in our stores to see where your products end up. Plus, you’ll need to keep a beady eye on the latest food trends to ensure there’s nothing we’re missing out on.

For this placement, you’ll already be studying for a food-related qualification. But most importantly you’ll need to be creative, inspired by the culinary arts and have a serious passion for food. Bring all this to the table and you could be hearing a yes from us.
