We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant who will join our growing Marketing & Communications team on a 12 month placement to provide excellent support and assistance. You’ll be expected to add value to the team by fulfilling support tasks efficiently and effectively.

About the placement
The Marketing Assistant will work on projects and tasks at both corporate and local level across our four strands of marketing and communications;
- Market intelligence
- Brand awareness
- Customer acquisition and retention
- Customer insight
There will also be a number of general and administrative tasks that the Marketing Assistant will own including purchasing administration and budget management.

What we're looking for
We’re looking for highly dynamic and focused undergraduates who have the following skills and competencies:
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of team spirit
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills
- A curious creative mind and isn’t afraid to suggest ideas
- Passionate about excellent customer service
- Able to work within limited timeframes and budgets when required
- Able to work independently and manage projects
- Competent in Microsoft Office, particular PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience of design or photo editing software (Photoshop/Illustrator) would be an advantage
You should also be:
- Enrolled on a university course which allows you to complete a 12 month industrial placement year as an integral part of your course
- Ideally, studying a course that includes Marketing
- Be on target to achieve a minimum of 2:1
