Few things are certain in life. But you can be sure that a paid Summer Internship with Aon will give you a 100% chance of improving your prospects – as well as some invaluable experience besides.

We are a professional services organisation of incredible scope and scale. We help the biggest names in business plan for every eventuality – we’re the world’s #1 insurance broker, the #1 provider of reinsurance, the #1 provider of investment consulting and the #1 provider of human capital consulting.

The world of work is changing rapidly. Economic migration, a rising retirement age and longer working hours all have an impact on our health and wellbeing.

With our help, more and more organisations are offering flexible, financial benefits that can be tailored to their employees’ lifestyles to reward and retain talent. We are a leader in the design, implementation and management of modern, financial benefits programmes. In fact, we have been voted the best health & benefits advisory firm for the past five years by readers of Business Insurance magazine.

We are a business-to-business operation, working with many household-name corporations, as well as smaller enterprises. Our innovative, ‘best-in-class’ solutions help clients make decisions on financial benefit design and provisions that optimise their investment while incentivising employees.

Our size and reputation enable us to deliver for our clients in three distinct areas of employee benefits: Health and Risk Benefits; Defined Contribution Pensions; and Communication and Flexible Benefits.

You can apply to an internship programme in this area which will last for nine weeks over the summer. This will help to give you a feel for our culture and the opportunity to take on real responsibilities and contribute to our business. You’ll be assigned a mentor to guide you through the placement, while full technical training and business skills development will give you an understanding of the professional services world. In line with our Corporate Social Responsibility policies, we’ll also challenge you to make a difference. You’ll be involved in group charity projects that help local communities which will allow you to demonstrate your ability to work with clients, as well as develop team working and communication skills.

Although an internship does not guarantee a place on our Graduate Programme, many of our interns go on to a successful career with us.

If you’re looking for a sure-fire way to improve your career prospects, don’t leave your future to chance, visit our website to find out more here.
