About the programme
In the fast-moving world of finance, we need to have the very best technology at our disposal. That’s why our expert Technology team is at the heart of our international operation, providing tech infrastructure and cutting-edge tools for use all across the business. Our talented teams design, build and sustain our systems in-house. And as an intern, you’ll be assigned to one of these teams. This will give you the chance to understand that area inside out – as well as how our international business functions as a whole.
During your 10 weeks in Technology, you’ll receive any specialised training you’ll need to make your internship a success, as well as a thorough induction to the finance industry. You’ll be working on live assignments from the get go and we’ll fill your schedule full of meetings and social events to help you build on your existing interpersonal skills. The various charity fundraising activities that we run will give you a chance to develop your team-work skills and mingle with interns from other departments. By the end of your internship, we hope you’ll have an idea of how important the area is to the business as a whole, and where you could fit in.
About you
As a penultimate-year student, you’ll need to be a fast learner with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Your degree subject doesn’t matter – we’re more interested in your curious mind, fresh ideas and genuine enthusiasm for our industry. If you can add to all that a strong academic record and the motivation to make a success of your time with us, that’ll be a plus too.
