Hays Placement Year – what does it involve?

A career in Recruitment is all about matching people with organisations and as a Recruitment Placement Student your role is to develop and manage your own portfolio of clients and source the most suitable candidates. You will have the opportunity to consult and advise the decision makers of many of the world's leading organisations whilst making the most of your broad range of recruitment skills through our industry leading training.

As you identify and utilise a vast array of candidate attraction strategies, you will be responsible for assessing and validating candidate skills through interviewing, in-house testing (where relevant) and reference checking. You will also have the opportunity to further develop relationships with your clients through networking events, business development and strategic engagement.
