We have plenty to offer and while you may be more familiar with our Group Company and other subsidiaries like EDF Energy, which provides the nation with electricity, EDF Trading is a leader in the international wholesale energy markets. From power to gas, coal, freight and environmental products, our portfolio gives us the ability to source, supply, transport, store, blend and convert physical commodities.

The Role

In 2016, we are inviting outstanding students to join us for our Summer Internship Programme in London and Houston. During the 10 weeks you are with us, you will be given a real role with comprehensive training that will stand out on your CV. It’s a paid internship on a fantastic programme that broadens and deepens your knowledge and gives you skills, experience and responsibility from day one.

Whether you join us in Trading, Product Control, IT, HR, Tax, or anywhere in between, you will be immersed in our business and given real exposure to our daily operations and activities. You will be allocated a department, a live project and a buddy. To help you settle in, you’ll have a full induction and training plan. This will include ‘lunch and learn’ briefings held by business managers on various commodities as well as business skills.

At the end of your internship, you will deliver a presentation on your assigned project to a business panel. Impress here and you could receive an offer to return to EDF Trading on the completion of your studies.

The programme will run for 10 weeks from June to August in the UK, and May to July in the US.
