The Role
You can learn a lot about a law firm from brochures, websites and on-campus representatives. But nothing comes close to experiencing it first-hand. That’s what our vacation schemes are for. you’ll spend two weeks in one of our practice areas, take part in workshops and attend eye-opening presentations.
There’ll be work to do too. Typically, you’ll get involved in research, draft letters and research notes, and go to client meetings. There’s also the chance to build valuable relationships at social events. Plus you’ll have your own supervisor and buddy. If you like us and we’re impressed by you, it could well be the start of something great.
We recommend that you apply as a penultimate year law student or final year non-law student in London and Bristol and a penultimate year law student in Scotland, although we regularly have career changers and graduates on our schemes too.

The work we do is intellectually demanding and professionally stretching – giving you an excellent grounding and a head start to your career in law.
Our vacation schemes are open to applicants who have 320 UCAS points (or equivalent) and who have (or are expecting) a 2:1 degree in any discipline.
