Software Development Placement

Working in Software Development you’ll be at the heart of IBM’s major innovation; software development is the area of our business where our innovation and extraordinary software products, applications and processes take shape. As a placement student you’ll be able to involved in virtually every stage of either developing new solutions or supporting and improving existing ones. IBM are a company at the forefront of technology, so what better company could you think to get on your CV.

We recruit from all degree backgrounds, all you’ll need is to show a keen interest in the technology and be working towards a 2:1 in your degree.

When you join IBM we recruit you as an employee not as a student, we invest in you from the very beginning giving you responsibility and the training to get your career of to the best possible start. On our scheme you’ll get paid £15,000 a year plus a £1000 signing bonus and if you’re living in London we’ll give you an extra £3,000. To save you the cost of buying your own we’ll provide you with a free IBM laptop as well as a host of corporate discounts and 25 days holiday. Not bad ay?
