What are my responsibilities
Working with our management team on key business projects for the 12 month duration, you will be required to work in a flexible environment to operate across a number of disciplines from Sales and Marketing to Business Improvement and Information Technology. You will work on one of four strategic projects with a clear business benefit, which will help both you and Siemens gain the most out of the programme. The 4 project roles include Business Excellence (Lean Academy), Lead management process, IT Strategy and Customer Value Generation.
What do I need to qualify for this job
You will be working towards or achieved a 2:2 or above degree in Business Management or Information Technology / Information Management, you will be eager to start your career with one of the world’s foremost engineering companies. Successful candidates will have a demonstrable track record of being a self-starter and achieving their goals in the face of challenges, with a desire to enhance and improve the organisation that you work for, and a passion for bringing good technology into an operational business context where it can make an impact to the bottom line.
Any experience or training in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Project Management
- Lean Management
- IT strategy
- Stakeholder engagement
- Requirements Definition/Enterprise Architecture
What else do i need to know
Although based in Manchester, you may be required to spend some time at another Siemens location, so you will be required to travel and must be willing and flexible to relocate for short periods of time.
