Overall purpose of role

To deliver administrative and organisational support to the Regional Marketing & Production team, ranging from data management through to shoot support.

Area of Responsibility
  • Provide administrative support to the On-air and Production team, helping with the running of the department, facilitating internal team communication and meetings.
  • Administer and assist the team with the scheduling & planning of projects, e.g. updating the production grid week to week
  • Manage a methodical system for handling deliverables and assets. Organise shipping to and from 3rd parties as required
  • Maintain material archives and databases and check materials on receipt
  • Assist in organising promo shoots to the Disney standard and guidelines, for example: health and safety, risk assessments and legal contract through to printing and creating call sheets and running on shoots when applicable
  • Supply admin support to the Director of Production (diary management, build presentations, agenda items etc.).
  • Take notes at regional meetings and publish minutes, follow up on action points etc.

Post Production -

  • Write project briefs
  • Attend Edit and Audio sessions when required
  • Book voiceovers, issue contracts and liaise with legal department on terms & clearances
  • Create and maintain a database of voice over artists for each channel.
  • Liaise between internal/external post-production facilities
  • Supply relevant Mediator and DCWMAX support. (Training will be provided)
  • Uploading of digital video and app creative to max/ jellyroll
  • Sourcing video & audio assets from Jellyroll for things like the soundboard, music lifts etc (Training will be supplied for JR)
  • Assistance with EMEA logo creation and localisation via an agency
Areas of Accountability

This person reports directly to the Director of production but will be required to support and fulfil projects requested by the Regional team.

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
  • Previous experience in a similar environment (on-air, agency or production department) would be advantageous.
  • Excellent computer skills to intermediate level in key packages – word, excel & PP
  • Degree in Media Studies or related field
  • Knowledge of final cut / adobe premier / photoshop is an advantage
