The Role

TfL Facilities Operations are responsible for the management of TfL’s 43 Head Office buildings throughout central London. The two placements are based within the technical support teams working on all systems relating to the management of these facilities, ranging from: the minimisation of TfL's Head Offices energy, water and waste footprints; involvement in financial budgeting & targeting and contract assessments; completion of asset improvement projects; assessing compliance with Health & Safety and Standards; through to supporting our Building Managers with occupant liaison on day to day issues. You will be a key member of the team and assist in driving forward TfL Facilities Operations environmental performance, whilst learning and developing skills in relation to data systems, energy conservation, environmental management, Facilities engineering and general Facilities Management.

Entry requirements

We are seeking applications from students studying for a degree in any engineering, analytical or scientific discipline. You'll need to be able to convert to a sandwich degree course, currently in your second year of study and returning to your final year after your Year in Industry placement.
