Job Description

To deliver technical, administrative and organisational support to the LOC Technology and Operations team. The co-ordinator must be a strong team player, possess a keen eye for detail, be able to work to tight deadlines and possess the ability to prioritise and coordinate. The candidate should have a high level of computer literacy and have a background in media technology or in a technological or computer related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist technology and broadcast managers with documentation.
• Create and manage a methodical system for handling deliverables and assets. Organise shipping to and from 3rd parties as required
• Support Senior Technology Management with budgets and purchasing, ensuring accuracy and visibility to senior management and relevant finance person as and when required.
• Manage accurate records for smart card to report to platforms and head ends, resolving issues and shipments on request.
• Track and analyse transmission issues so they can be resolved quickly.
• Assist with the daily operation of Disney’s media asset management and workflow system. Tracking issues and assisting staff.
• Review rejected programmes to determine and advise on next steps with suppliers or Lines of Business.
• Generate and update satellite topology and system drawings as required.
• Maintain the LOC Technology and Operations specification and workflow documents as directed.
• Provide technical advice to team as required.
