We are looking for

Talented individuals to undertake a 12-month paid work placement as part of our business placement program to work in Manufacturing starting early September 2014.

About the placements

The Ford Powertrain Operations Manufacturing Engineering team is truly global, you will find yourself working with engineers across the world, but primarily throughout Europe. The work is challenging, interesting and varied and depending on your placement, there may be the opportunity to travel to many European locations.

The objective of our Manufacturing placement program is to enable you to gain exposure to a diverse mix of the work we do, and so broaden your knowledge and skills as widely as possible. This is your chance to experience working with a large (200+) professional Manufacturing Engineering community for one of the country’s leading automotive companies, building award winning engines, in world class facilities.

You can expect that your placement will be in one of the following areas: - Assembly, Manufacturing, Tooling, Gauge, Controls or Productivity. However, this list is not exhaustive with many other opportunities within Manufacturing Engineering.
