Who are you?

You are either a web designer or a web developer – we are looking for both. You are a bright individual with a personable nature, highly organized and like working with others from different countries and backgrounds. Either as part of your studies and/or commercial experience, you have worked on websites and/or intranets where you were responsible for building web pages (preferably business-to-business) and website maintenance. This means:

• You possess careful attention to detail
• You have good examples of your work, either from your studies or other work experience
  (ideally a digital portfolio)
• You have a broad set of skills and are always working to improve and learn
• You have a good understanding of the key principles of web design including user
  interface, usability, accessibility, and web standards.

Expected Skills (designers only)

• HTML & CSS – good
• Photoshop / Fireworks – good
• JavaScript - some experience preferable
• Content Management Systems – some experience of using CMS is preferable, particularly
• Microsoft SharePoint.

Expected Skills (developers only)

• HTML / CSS - Good
• JavaScript / Jquery - Good / Beginner
• PHP or ASP – Procedural code - Beginner
• Photoshop (Slicing designs) - Beginner
• SharePoint/Drupal/Wordpress/Joomla - Any experience a bonus

Responsibilities (DESIGNERS only)

You will be working on existing internet and intranet sites as a junior web designer reporting to the Studio Manager. Your duties will include:

• Creating page layouts using HTML & CSS
• Publishing and uploading content to the sites using a CMS
• Designing graphic elements of web pages
• Creating and/or modifying flash applications and animations
• Creating and sending HTML newsletters to website users
• Performing various project tasks in support of your manager

Responsibilities (Developers only)
