The Challenge Network is a fast-growing social enterprise that connects and inspires people across Britain to strengthen their communities. NCS with The Challenge is a programme that brings together young people from different backgrounds, builds their confidence, and challenges them to make a difference in their local community. In summer 2014, 16,500 young people across London, the West Midlands and the North West will take part in NCS with The Challenge for an intensive three-week summer programme followed by four weekends in the autumn.

The Role

We are looking for Community Facilitators to spend up to four weeks in summer 2014 and all four weekends in September supporting teams of young people, working in the local community in London, Surrey, West Midlands or North West England.

The Community Facilitator is responsible for facilitating the curriculum activities and group work by supporting teams of young people through the community focused part of NCS with The Challenge.

We are looking for passionate individuals with an interest in young people and community action. This role is suitable for a dynamic and confident person with experience of leading groups of young people, who is able to motivate them and command their respect.
