Explore this unique opportunity to join a global power leader - a 12 month Placement – Customer Services Analyst role with Cummins UK is now open for sandwich course students.

Working under the guidance of the OM Customer Services Lead, the student will be involved with all aspects of order management and customer interface with the Plant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Orderboards:
Download and format customer orderboards from Oracle OBIEE for distribution.

Report Creation:

  • Continuous collation of data attributed to the Business using Oracle/Excel and providing the reports to a worldwide audience.
  • Researching various attributes of the Plant using Oracle/Excel and liaising with various departments in the creation of reports when required.
  • You will be involved in various ad-hoc tasks, which include liaising with shipping, providing essential documentation and creating important reports.

Measures:

Prepare detailed Customer/Distributor Score Cards for review on a quarterly basis

Monthly Management Meetings:

Data compilation for inclusion in a monthly report to include the following:

  • Invoices raised per month
  • Service Parts shipment
  • Order intake
  • Customer complaints
  • Order acknowledgment
  • Market news & highlights
  • Forthcoming visits

TRAINING PROVIDED:
  • New employee training defined by the Daventry Plant.
  • Specific training in all aspects of the prevailing business processes and related systems, including Oracle Applications.
  • Presentation Skills and Six Sigma.

A mentor will be nominated for guidance during placement period.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Computer literacy – proficient knowledge of Windows based applications, in particular Microsoft Excel – advanced knowledge
  • Communication Skills, verbal and written.
  • Teamwork.
  • Lateral and pro active thinker.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Time management/prioritisation skills.
