About the role
The role will be varied to undertake activities reaching from administration, coordination and hands on work to more strategic thinking and ideas generation.
To undertake a resourcing analysis and produce reports in line with MBDA UK’s focus on key People Objectives in 2014-2015 as part of the company's overall vision. Objectives include resourcing, leadership behaviour development, engagement, developing our next generation and the MBDA experience.
To support the recruitment, development, training and progression of apprenticeships in MBDA UK, which will include but not limited to:
- Update all Apprentice learning objectives within the business and coordinate movement plans
- Organise education and school visits
- Manage work experience placement plans and activities
- Support all Apprentice recruitment for 2015 including advertising, screening, testing, relaying offers, producing contracts, giving feedback etc
- Coordinate all apprentice review meetings
- Review paperwork for salary increases
- Support and coordinate apprentice manager meetings
- Build education database
Key Experiences
- Knowledgeable, proactive and hardworking individual with a genuine interest in current HR issues
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows programmes (Excel and Powerpoint in particular)
- Adept at forming strong working relationships across the HR community as well as with key business contacts
- Good attention to detail
