The Role
This one year placement is an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated student to work in a busy B2B environment and gain extensive experience in all aspects of marketing strategy, planning and execution.
You will be responsible for assisting with marketing activities on a brand within the Travis Perkins Group, including; Local Marketing (using various medias from radio to direct mail to bill boards to POS), promotions, brochures and direct mail.
This role is fast paced and offers fantastic opportunities to obtain a wide range of marketing experience within a high profile organisation. You will get hands-on experience working with branches at a local level in our network. You will build and maintain effective internal and external relationships with all Travis Perkins stakeholders, whilst developing your marketing and project management skills through the organisation.
What Are We Looking For?
You must be a team player who has confidence, good organisational, communication and presentation skills. In addition you should also be IT literate with working knowledge of the usual Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Energy and passion to make a difference are essential attributes for this role.
You will also need to be a creative individual with excellent attention to detail.
To be considered for this fantastic placement you must be currently undertaking a Marketing or Business Related Degree.
You will be based in Northampton. You must also be prepared to travel within the UK to our sites across the country.
