The Role

INDUSTRIAL STUDENT PLACEMENTS
POSITION: IT DEPARTMENT
REF: ISP13IT02

We have an Industrial Placement opportunity within our IT Department. Working within the FIT (Full Integration Test) Laboratory you will support our busy Formula 1 operation.

The main accountabilities of the role are:
- Support the software configuration control within the FIT Lab
- Help answer calls/emails and enter them into the task list
- Support the handling of licences and routine software installations
- Support the setup of scenarios for investigations
- Support the execution of regression tests
- Support the drafting of procedures and test cases
- Support the hand-over of tasks and know-how to the new placement student at the end of the contract
- Prepared to support out of hours FIT Lab activities pre- and during events

The placement will be for 1 year, starting in the Summer of 2013.

Candidates should be studying towards Information Systems or an engineering related degree.
