RMP Enterprise Ltd is the company behind this website and was launched in 2007 by three Loughborough University graduates. Since then, we have grown rapidly, providing students with unrivalled resources online (RateMyPlacement.co.uk), offline (via our annual publication ‘A Students’ Guide To The Top Placement & Internship Employers’) and on-campus (via our sister company, On-Campus Promotions) in their quest to gain work experience and employability skills.

We work with over 200 top clients including Microsoft, Disney, Warner Bros, HSBC, PwC & IBM helping them to advertise their placements & internship schemes. Who were are looking for

Following on from our third year of recruiting placement students for the 2012-2013 year, we are looking for students with a passion for marketing and promoting RateMyPlacement.co.uk to the student population.
This will be a placement like no other – you’ll be thrown in at the deep end with real responsibility from day one. You should be able to demonstrate a willingness to work on a range of cross-company projects and possess the enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit and drive to make a positive contribution to the development of the business.

You will be working across the four aspects of our business: RateMyPlacement.co.uk, The National Placement & Internship Awards, A Students’ Guide to the Top Placement & Internship Employers and On-Campus Promotions.

As a Marketing placement student you will be expected to get involved with all aspects of the business, however your main responsibilities will include:

• Attending Careers & Freshers’ Fairs across the UK promoting RateMyPlacement.co.uk to students
• Recruiting and Managing Brand Managers for these fairs
• Acting as a point of contact for our network of RateMyPlacement student Brand Managers and dealing with everyday enquiries
• Helping to maintain and build links with university societies
• Contributing to our social networking presence on Facebook, Twitter and other forums
• Writing website content and blogs
• Some account management with our client base
• Some event management – including our Summer Internship Party and the NPIA’s (National Placement & Internship Awards).
• Marketing & Recruitment for the next year’s Placement Students

• A student on a 12 month sandwich placement from any degree discipline
• A sociable, confident, articulate student
• A good telephone manner
• A self starter who is able to work on their own and as member of a team
• A willingness to travel to various universities in the UK
• A willingness to help out in many different aspects of the business
• An interest in working for a small entrepreneurial company
• A good knowledge of Microsoft Office and social networks
• If you are an active member of a university society or club that would be an advantage
