We have a number of Sales Placements available across our Retail group – these are the teams managing our hugely successful relationships with numerous retailers including Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Amazon, Game, HMV +++

INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE IN, LEEDS and WELWYN GARDEN CITY – PLEASE STATE YOUR LOCATION PREFERENCE WHEN APPLYING

Depending on the specific account the placement will be working on, the intern will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of duties, examples of which are given below

Team Coordination:
    • Team Support, Retail Point of Contact for - product information, assets, partners, customer queries, etc;
    • General – filing, circulating info, photocopying, faxing, scanning, booking travel.
    • Finance – raising POs, tracking trade marketing spend
    • Co-ordinating and following up sales meeting notes
    Supporting Sales Process
    • Supporting the Commercial Manager and Business Development Managers
    • Product demonstration for team, retail buyers, conferences and events
    • Presenting sales activity and sales reports to team
    • Store visits & analysis
    • Competitor research
    • Forecasting using market data
    • Reporting on market performances (chartTrack, NPD etc)
    • Supplying assets to retailers i.e. packshots for online sites, catalogues, etc.
    • Preparing new line forms
    • Managing retailer administration where applicable

    You must be proactive, anticipate potential opportunities and pitfalls, and be thorough in checking details. A motivated personality (and a sense of humour!) is essential as well as excellent time management and prioritisation. You will be expected to take on a great deal of responsibility. The opportunity to develop the role relies on your interest, ability & enthusiasm.

    Interest in the Entertainment industry & associated consumer product industries is key.

    Will consider candidates across a range of subjects – it is desirable to have good presentation skills and be numeric.
    Not only will you have the opportunity to work with Disney, the largest Family Entertainment brand, but you will also have the experience of working with some of the biggest & most sophisticated retailers in the UK plus exposure to other great organisations, such as Mattel, Hasbro, KCC, Hallmark to name but a few.

Previous interns are now working at Disney & other blue-chip companies, because they have got the right experience, built their marketing and selling skills, found out amazing time-management techniques, became more numerate and they worked on projects that made a difference on their CVs.
