Deadline: 1st August 2018
Length: Internship (1 Month+)
Roles: Audit
Location: London, West Midlands
City: London, Birmingham

Group Audit focuses on identifying potential risk exposure. This includes designing internal control processes and reviewing their operating effectiveness. It’s a global, project-based function with a structure that mirrors Deutsche Bank itself.

Your training

It all starts with an introduction to the world of Deutsche Bank and the technical and soft skills you’ll need to make an impact. Your training will continue throughout the summer as you work on live projects, learning first-hand how we deliver for our clients. Through a combination of classroom and on-the-job training, you’ll get to understand the complex risks associated with our activities, functions and products -- and how we manage them. You’ll also discover how we provide assurance that’s independent, consistent and insightful. At every stage you’ll learn from our most senior leaders and network widely. And because our internships are a rich source of talent for the Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme, yours could also launch a career with us.

Your role

Based in one of the world’s global financial centres, you’ll work at the heart of a progressive business tackling projects that broaden and deepen your business and technical knowledge. You could be helping to plan an audit, for example, or testing the effectiveness of internal controls in one of the Bank’s business areas. But you’ll enjoy plenty of support from managers and mentors along with unparalleled global exposure.

The skills you’ll need

Group Audit offers excellent long-term careers to people who have high levels of professionalism, integrity and agile thinking. You’ll need an outstanding record of academic achievement as well as a passion for the financial markets and a determination to build a long-term career as a leader in our global bank. If you also have the ability to deliver innovative solutions, and work with others in a highly collaborative environment, you could soon be adding real value to our business.
