This twelve-month placement within the Crop Protection Division at BASF Plc,located near Manchester, is an excellent opportunity to join over 100,000 employees at the world's leading chemical company and gain valuable insight into the dynamic business environment of a global organization.

  • You will be a key member of our UK, Ireland & Nordic Baltics Customer Strategy Team, and provide essential support to our Market Insight, Strategy, Marketing and Sales departments.
  • Your main areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to: Market research, Market analysis, New product development, Strategic projects, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), Event support, Independent short and long term projects.
  • Finally, you will work with multiple internal stakeholders, including senior members of staff and develop personal and professional skills that will be transferable into any business environment.

What we expect

  • You are working towards a business, economics, marketing or strategy related degree, on course for at least a 2:1.
  • You are confident working with IT programmes.
  • You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and work management skills.
