Siemens Healthcare leads the field in providing diagnostic imaging solutions for the NHS and private sector. We are looking for an intern to join our Operational Support and Application Development team.

What are my responsibilities?

  • You will support our Level 1 Service Desk, dealing with day to day issues and support project work
  • Web Development (c#, MVC, Javascript)
  • Produce process maps, work instructions & user guides for IT processes
  • You will be expected to work with your manager and colleagues in understanding the department’s objectives and deadlines and planning your work in order to meet these priorities

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You will be working towards a minimum 2:2 degree in Information Technology with an interest in software development.
  • Ideally you will have web development skills with experience of some or all of the following; C#, Model View Controller (MVC) and web development in visual studio.
  • You will be able to manage your time effectively and respond to change in a positive manner.
  • You will be flexible and adaptable in your approach, have excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute positively to a team environment.
  • You will need to be confident in making decisions, using your own initiative and taking responsibility for tasks and projects to which you are assigned.
  • You will possess good analytical skills.
  • You will have the energy and drive to succeed, be committed to excellence and be innovative in your thinking.

What else do I need to know?
