Business IT (Medical Operations) Placement

In this placement you will…
Provide system IT support to the team focusing on internal research systems and processes with a focus on the implementation of a new Clinical Trials Management System, this will include: -

  • Creating and maintaining SharePoint pages
  • Providing support with system upgrades and patches
  • Suggesting improvement opportunities and logging system change suggestions
  • Assisting with user acceptance testing and validation
  • Supporting data migration needs, ensuring a high level of accuracy
  • Working with business specialists on process improvement projects

Requirements

  • Studying toward an IT, Computer Science or Business Information Systems degree
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexible in your approach to work and able to prioritise work effectively
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to develop strong relationships with people at all levels across the organisation
  • Able to take ownership and work to tight deadlines, with good time management skills
  • Passionate about working within a pharmaceutical organisation.
