Programme Overview

If you know that banking is for you, but would like some insight into a particular business area, look into the Citi Work Experience week. Here, you’re placed in a specific business area and will get a real-life taste of what it's like to be part of that team.

We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.

Here at Citi, we want to ensure you are given true insight to help you decide where you want to start your career. Our Work Experience week runs for 5 days and during this time you will be placed in one of the following business areas:, Corporate Banking, Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS), and Technology. Following the programme, any participants that have demonstrated the qualities we look for in Citi will be offered a place at an assessment centre for a place on the following year’s summer analyst programme.

Your time here will look something like this…

The format of week will be dependent on the business but its very likely you will be:

  • Working on projects
  • Supporting/Work-shadowing Analysts
  • Meeting with Seniors
  • Attending team/client meetings
  • Participating in Citi-Wide networking events

We want to hear from you if…

  • You are in your first year of a three-year undergraduate course or second year of a four-year undergraduate in any discipline or Masters course
  • You have a minimum of 320 UCAS points or equivalent
